Garbage and recycling is collected by John's Disposal.* Please see schedule in the right sidebar. Garbage and recycling carts should be at the curb no later than 6 a.m. on the collection day. Carts must be placed at the curb or in the driveway if necessary, not in the street. If you are experiencing problems with pickups, please contact John's Disposal at (888) 473-4701. Beginning January 1, 2013 recycling will be picked up every week in Johnson Creek.
*PLEASE NOTE - APARTMENT BUILDINGS AND BUSINESSES HAVE PRIVATE CONTRACTORS. Please contact building manager for your garbage contractor and schedule.
If you have moved into a home that does not have carts from John's Disposal, please contact Village Hall at (920) 699-2296. We will arrange for delivery of garbage and recycling carts.
Brush and compost is picked up by the Public Works Department. Please see schedule in right sidebar. Brush and compost must be at the curb no later than 6 a.m. on the appropriate collection date. Brush must be placed at the edge of the curb with ends facing the flow of traffic. No branches over 8" diameter are accepted. Compost must be in biodegradable bags or in open containers not weighing over 35 pounds.
Electronics are no longer picked up during garbage and recyling collection due to changes in state laws requiring these items to be properly recycled.
