Building Inspection

The Building Inspector approves all permits including electrical, building, occupancy, plumbing, heating, erosion control, etc. The position is responsible for issuance of code violations and all inspections.

 

New 1 and 2 family homes built in Johnson Creek must  fill out the State Building Permit form online.

New Houses:

3 Sets of Plans (1 signed by A.C.C.)

3 Stake Out Surveys

1 Heat Loss Calculation

1 UDC Permit Application (available at Village Hall)
Permit Fee: $0.30/sq foot for all areas plus impact fee and public improvement bond


Addition/Remodel Permits:

2 Sets of Plans

Survey (if applicable) 

Building Permit Application (available at Village Hall)
Permit Fee: $8.00/$1,000 of Project Valuation, $50.00 Remodel Minimum, $75.00 Addition Minimum

Survey or Sketch of Lot
