Administrative Assistant - Clerk/Treasurer's Office

Position Objectives

This full-time position serves as the first point of contact for residents and visitors in the Clerk/Treasurer's office and provides a wide variety of administrative support for day-to-day operations of the Village.  The Administrative Assistant will work 40 hours per week, primarily during the hours of 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday.  Occasional additional hours may be required to attend official meetings and to assist with election duties or tax collection. 

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree in administrative professional or business administration program preferred; high school diploma or GED required
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills
  • Computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office programs
  • Working knowledge of cash receipts, accounts payable, and basic accounting procedures preferred
  • Three (3) years of experience in an office environment; municipal experience is a plus!
  • Valid State of WI driver's license required

Benefits

Salary range begins at $20.47 per hour, DOQ.  Excellent benefit package includes contribution to WI Retirement System, up to 88% employer contribution to health insurance, 100% employer-paid dental insurance, life insurance, paid vacation, sick time, and holidays.
