A combined bill for water and sewer charges is mailed on the 10th of each month. Bills are then due on the first of each month. A late payment charge of 3% is added to bills not paid by the due date. If you have a question about your bill, please contact Village Hall at (920) 699-2296 Ext# 103 or e-mail: nicoled@vi.johnsoncreek.wi.gov.
I RECEIVED A PAST DUE NOTICE, AND I CAN'T PAY MY BILL IN FULL. WHAT CAN I DO?
If you have received a past due notice, your utility bill is over 14 days past due. Payments for late utility bills should be made at the Village Hall or online on or before the disconnection date listed on the card. The amount on the disconnection notice only includes late charges on your account and does not change the due date of any current unpaid charges on the account.
If you are unable to pay the full amount on your bill or past due notice by the disconnection date, please contact Village Hall at (920)699-2296 Ext# 103 or nicoled@vi.johnsoncreek.wi.gov as soon as possible BEFORE the due date and/or disconnection date. We will assist you in setting up a successful deferred payment agreement (DPA) so you can avoid late fees and penalties. You can get a copy of our deferred payment agreement form here.
LEAK ADJUSTMENTS
The Johnson Creek Water Utility has a leak adjustment policy allowing for credit of sewer charges in certain leak situations. Please review the leak adjustment policy to see if your leak may qualify for a billing adjustment. Leak adjustment applications may be turned in at Village Hall at 125 Depot Street. For further questions about leaks and how they affect your utility bill, call (920) 699-2296.
