The Community Development Authority acts as the agent of the Village in planning and carrying out community development programs and is charged with carrying out blight elimination, slum clearance, urban renewal programs and projects, and housing projects. Two members of the CDA are Village Board members and the remaining five are citizens of Johnson Creek. The CDA has the powers, duties, and functions set out in §§ 66.1201 and 66.1333, Wis. Stats., for housing and redevelopment authorities.
