Siren Information

The siren system is tested on the first Wednesday each month at 11 a.m.  A weather siren is a three-minute steady tone.  If you hear this siren, please take cover immediately. Fire call sirens sound similar to a fire truck siren (a wavering tone).  Sirens may sound between the hours of 6am-6:30pm for fire calls.

Knox Box Information

Village ordinance 134-3 requires commercial, industrial, multi-family, government and nursing care buildings to be equipped with a key lock box (Knox Box) at or near the main entrance or other location specified by the Fire Chief to allow emergency personnel to access buildings without forced entry damage.  Johnson Creek fire engines carry a master key to open the boxes.  Johnson Creek Fire Department has designated Knox Box Model 3202 for compliance with Village ordinance 134-3.  This box holds up to ten keys and can be ordered by acquiring the form at the Fire Department.  For further questions, contact us at (920) 699-3456.
